This policy explains how Azury Digital & Tech Solutions Ltd ("Azury Digital", "we", "us") handles personal data in connection with Lettright (together, "the platform"), and your rights under UK data protection law — the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Azury Digital & Tech Solutions Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales (company number 13446812). Our registered office is 23a The Precinct, London Road, Waterlooville, PO7 7DT. You can contact us about privacy and data protection at info@azurydigital.co.uk.
We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) under registration reference ZC188926.
Lettright is cloud software used by letting agents and supported- or temporary-accommodation providers to run their business. That means personal data flows through the platform in two different roles.
Your tenants', landlords' and applicants' data — you are the controller, we are the processor. When you use the platform to store and manage information about your own tenants, landlords, applicants, guarantors and properties, you (the letting agent or housing provider) are the data controller for that information. Azury Digital & Tech Solutions Ltd acts as your data processor, processing that personal data only on your documented instructions and to provide the platform, under a data processing agreement.
Your own account data — we are the controller. When you deal with us directly — an enquiry, a demo request, your platform account, billing and support — we are the data controller for that information and this policy governs how we use it.
Because the platform is built for lettings and supported housing, it holds a significant amount of personal data on your behalf, which may include:
We process this data only to provide, secure and support the platform, and only on your instructions. We do not use it for our own purposes, and we do not sell it. As controller, it is your responsibility to have a lawful basis for holding this data and to give the people it concerns the required privacy information.
The platform is multi-tenant: many agencies and providers use the same software. It is built so that each customer's data is isolated from every other customer's. Every record is tied to the account that owns it, and the system is designed to only ever return your own data to you — so one agency cannot see or reach another's tenants, landlords or properties. That separation is preserved in our backups too. More detail is on our Security page.
Our marketing site uses no advertising or tracking cookies. The platform uses a single functional token to keep you securely signed in — this is essential to the service and isn't used to track you.
We never sell your data. We use a small number of trusted providers to run the service, acting as our sub-processors — including UK hosting on ISO 27001-certified infrastructure, transactional email (such as invites and password resets) sent via Fasthosts (Livemail) in the UK, and a PCI-DSS-certified provider for any card payments. We may also disclose data where the law requires it. We do not add or change sub-processors handling data you control without making that information available to you.
Platform data is hosted in the United Kingdom on ISO 27001-certified infrastructure, encrypted in transit and encrypted in our backups, with tightly limited access and hourly encrypted backups held off-site. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect it — see our Security page for the detail.
Data you control on the platform is kept for as long as you maintain your account, and is deleted or returned in line with our agreement with you when your subscription ends. We keep your own account and billing data only for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet our legal, accounting and tax obligations, then delete or anonymise it.
Where we are the controller of your data, you have the right to access it, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its use, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email info@azurydigital.co.uk and we'll respond within one month. Where a request concerns data controlled by a letting agent or housing provider using the platform, we will refer it to that customer as the controller, and support them in responding.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed.
